SCA® dataShare is an advanced software system that allows sharing the SCA® database.

The following situations may occur:

   Database shared among several SCA® systems

Two or more SCA® systems can share a database instaled in an SQL server.

   Database shared with that of the hospital/clinic

SCA® can export data to an external database, or to any other management system. Example: patient data can be retreived from the external datase and included in the SCA® report.

   Database shared with SCA® Capture or SCA® Viewer

Print reports from the SCA® Capture or SCA® Viewer is possible if they are connected throuhg the dataShare to the SCA database of the full system.

   Combination of the situations presented previously

There are several options to access SCA® database:

Access the database directly: database is in SQL server format and there is access to all the tables and registers.

Using XML files: very common method nowadays. Access the desired properties from the XML file created in the SCA programs.

Images: All the images created, bmp or jpg format, will be stored with an identifier in the desired directories.

Each additional SCA® needs SCA® dataShare to access the shared database.
