Can I use any microscope?
Microptic S.L only recommends the NIKON, OLYMPUS, ZEISS AND LEICA microscopes, and they must fulfill the minimum requirements. The image quality is fundamental to obtain a proper analysis, and unknown microscope brands or cheap ones, even if they fulfill the minimum requirements provide a poor image quality and therefore bad results. A quality image must be obtained to perform a high quality analysis as a having an algorithm or the right software is not enough.
Can I use any video camera?
Only if the video camera fulfill the minimum requirements. Microptic S.L. recommends the better tested video camera to obtain optimum results.
Can I use any computer?
Computer must fulfill the minimum requirements.
Can I use Macintosh?
Yes, but only installing the Windows XP using the Boot Camp. All the systems currently using the Mac with Windows XP are working properly.
Do the systems need any specific/brand name disposable?
No. Microptic S.L. recommends the best quality products to perform the best analysis posible, although they are not a must. The user can choose the desired disposable, fulfilling the minimum requirements. (See minimum requirements table)
