Last August’s week I visited Ireland for the first time. It was in University of Limerick, the European City of Culture in 2014. I had the opportunity to enjoy life in an amazing University campus, I suggest it to all students that have the opportunity to go there.

I installed there a complete SCA® veterinary edition with all the analysis modules: Motility & Concentration, Morphology, DNA Fragmentation and Vitality, using their own Olympus BX-61 microscope, an extraordinary equipment with fluorescence. Here you can see a picture of it.

I’m sure that SCA® will help Seán Fair, PhD and his team to get excellent studies and publications about boar, bull, stallion and probably other species’ semen. They are very good on sample preparation techniques and well trained on the use of the SCA® system.  I’m proud of having the opportunity to train them.

It’s been also a pleasure to visit King John’s Castle near Shannon River and some of the green lands in this beautiful island. It’s the advantage of supporting rain almost every day! Here I share some pictures showing how beautiful it is.
