No hablamos de conejos de pascua ni liebres, sino de reproducci\u00f3n de conejos y esperma<\/h3>\n

Hay un nuevo enfoque sobre conejos en t\u00e9rminos de su tasa de reproducci\u00f3n prol\u00edfica, por la gran demanda de producci\u00f3n de carne de conejo a nivel mundial, pero tambi\u00e9n sobre cuestiones \u00e9ticas en t\u00e9rminos de experimentaci\u00f3n animal en la investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. Las liebres y los conejos pertenecen a la misma familia, Leporidae, pero son bastante diferentes entre s\u00ed. La gestaci\u00f3n en liebres es de 42 d\u00edas y solo de 30 d\u00edas en conejos. Tambi\u00e9n los conejos nacen con los ojos cerrados y sin pelaje y la incapacidad de regular la temperatura corporal. Las liebres, por el contrario, nacen con los ojos abiertos y con piel, tienen orejas muy largas y en su mayor\u00eda no hacen madrigueras.
