Deux chercheurs de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Florida ont profit\u00e9 l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 unique d\u2019enqu\u00eater la biologie du sperme du lamantin des Antilles en Florida et au Porto Rico.<\/p>\n

Le lamantin des Antilles \u00ab Trichechus manatus spp. \u00bb est une esp\u00e8ce de mammif\u00e8re grand et herbivore \u00ab En moyenne 3 m\u00e8tres de long et p\u00e8se 500Kg \u00bb qui typiquement occupe les environnements estuaires et c\u00f4tes marines. Le lamantin des Antilles est l\u2019esp\u00e8ce parmi les sir\u00e9niens la plus \u00e9tudi\u00e9 mais \u00e0 cause des probl\u00e8mes inh\u00e9rents \u00e0 la recherche des mammif\u00e8res marins, peu d\u2019\u00e9tudes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faits sp\u00e9cifiquement sur la physiologie reproductive du lamantin male.<\/p>\n
