SCA Morphology for Toxicology

SCA® Morphology is a module that permits the automatic morphometry analysis and morphology classification of stained sperm samples of mouse and rat observed in brightfield microscopy.

This analysis module is also
available for Human and Veterinary.

Ideal for testing various drugs, chemicals and radiations for their toxicity. This system adheres to 21 CFR11 guidelines.

SCA® Morphology main features

Automatic analysis

SCA® detects and analyses the spermatozoa automatically.

Complete analysis

Simultaneously evaluates the dimensions of the head and midpiece as well as arc length and chord.

Criteria selection

Spermatozoa are recorded as normal or abnormal, following established criteria: Standard, Adaptative or Customized.

Full automatic analysis

Optionally, analysis with motorized stage and SCA® Stage controller is available, improving the capture velocity and making all the process automatic.

SpermBlue kit

SpermBlue® staining appears to be the only available dye for correct visualization and it has been widely validated with SCA®.

Statistics

SCA® Morphology is an effective and user-friendly and tool for research, allowing the implementation of new terminology and estimations in sperm morphology.
