The assessment of sperm motility and concentration is one of the basic elements for the semen analysis.

FluoCount is a very useful tool that permits to differentiate sperms from extender debris during the automatic analysis due to its affinity to the nucleic acid. This kit works is composed by a fluorescent dye and may be used in fluorescence microscopy.

The FluoCount kit is for the evaluation of sperm concentration and motility from fresh or unthawed semen samples. The kit is intended for standard semen analysis in routine assessment.

More information:

Main characteristics of FluoCount:

Storing conditions: Solutions should be stored at 2-6 degrees protected from light.

High sensitivity: The dye detects low levels of nucleic acid in sperm.

Fluorescent spectral characteristics: The dye may be efficiently excited with a xenon or mercury-arc lamp or with a UV laser.

FluoCount includes Trihydrochloride Trihidrate and must be analyzed with a DAPI microscope filter (EX 330-380, DM 400, BA 420, standard filter UV).

High resolution: High resolution images with higher contrast.
