On September 5th, National Centre for Research, Education and Monitoring of Fertility Problems organizes semen analysis workshop.

The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with practical knowledge based on international standards and guidelines.

The theoretical part of the workshop will focus on the basic roles in semen analysis and importance of the external and internal quality control for appropriate diagnostic.

Prof. P. Jedrzejczak will give an overview of the significance of the anti-sperm antibody  in andrological  diagnostic. He will be also talk about the homo-and heterologous insemination.

Dr A. Szumala-Kakol  will share with the participants her experience in the introduction of the Sperm Class Analyzer in the andrology laboratory.

Finally, in the afternoon there will be a practical session with all speakers and participants  concerning preparation of the semen and automatic analysis of sperm motility and concentration, morphometry.

All analysis will be performed  using system SCA Microptic.

In this workshop attenders will have the opportunity to debate the most recent developments in spermatozoa analysis and selection and hear about useful hints to improve your quality control.
